
What is Earthing?
Do you remember walking barefoot in the wet sand at the beach or in a field of dew-moistened grass? That sensation is the result of direct barefoot contact with the surface of Mother Earth, which brims with natural, subtle energy.
The Earth, you see (or experience), is an electrical planet, and you are a bio-electrical being. Your body functions electrically, your heart and nervous system are prime examples of this. Emerging science reveals that direct contact with the ground allows you to receive an energy infusion, compliments of Mother Earth. Think of it as “vitamin G” – G for ground. Remove your shoes and go barefoot as often as possible

Unlike other sentient beings in Nature, modern human society is disconnected so we are getting little to no vitamin G. Past cultures and civilizations were connected when they slept on animal hides and such routine living grounded them. We sleep on elevated beds often many feet above the ground and out of touch with this never ending, free energy source.
In past civilizations, humans walked barefoot or with footwear of leather but today we generally do not venture out barefoot except when we’re on vacation at the beach. Over the last 60 years shoe manufacturers replaced traditional leather soled shoes that allowed the Earth’s energy to pass through and up into your body. Now, 95% of shoes have synthetic soles that block this vital energy. Because of this, today’s generations lack an energy hook-up with Mother Earth and have lost our electrical roots making us vitamin G deficient, so to speak. We’re not receiving the Earth’s built-in energy signals and this disconnection may very well be a seriously overlooked contributing factor to the global epidemic of chronic illness, pain, and dysfunction.
